4-color silk screen printing is widely
use in all kinds of industries now.In the field of Sign,silk screen printing
mainly use in the material of Acrylic,PS,PVC,Stainless Steel,Aluminium or
insulating plate.
Take the 4-color printing on acrylic
material for example.It is different from single color printing,4-color
printing needs color to be print one by one.For which color should be print at
first, technician will make the decision base on the characteristic of the
drawing according to their rich experience.After one color is printing,it
should drying before cover another one.
When printing on deep color board,it
needs to print white underpainting first. And then cover the other colors on
it.Because of the weak covering power of ink,without the white underpainting,the
final color will not the same as what you have design.
Here has few tips:
1. Usually K(key plate) cover at last.That’s
because if C,M,Y can be achieve the desired effect,K can be omit.
2. Since ink with limited adhesive force,after
printing,DeflectoAsia(Sate-Lite) will cover varnish to protect the drawing.It
not only has a good glossiness,but also light up the drawing.
